As the first half of this semester ends we go into spring break. This week is a very popular week for travel for students. So for this week I decided to write about helpful tips for college students when traveling on spring break.

Locals in spring break areas love this time of year because it is an easy time to make money. One tip is to avoid first floor hotel rooms. That is an easy target for thieves. Intoxicated college kids with money are thieves favorite because historically they are not the brightest  and would be easy to steal from.

Another tip is avoid drinking in hot tubs. All though it looks cool the effects of drinking are increased when in a hot tub.

Lastly be smart in the ocean. Drinking tends to make one feel “invincible” but studies show the ocean will never lose against a drunk college kid.
